A 20’s something chick flick that is relatable to the modern young woman.
“Little Black Dress” depicts the friendships, jealousies, hopes, and failures of four 24-year-old girls. The girls first met as first year students in college. They seem to be enjoying their 20’s, but inside they all have worries.

Overall, this was a fun movie, and it had a little bit of everything. Little Black Dress focused more on each of the girls’ lives rather than portraying them in a ‘nothing-can-touch-me’ light, as they all face challenges that test the strength of their friendship. As they overcome certain obstacles, each girl experiences her own ‘tragedy’ that forces them to see things in a different light.
The acting is good, and the story believable. You are taken on an emotional journey filled with laughter and tears, and perhaps even given a little more insight as to what it’s like as a college graduate in Korea.
I give this movie 3.5/5
