Crayon Pop’s brand new M/V for FM.
Watch the M/V below, then scroll down for my (very) short opinion/review on it:
So, I like the song. It’s catchy, has a good beat, and the girls, no doubt, have a tremendous amount of talent.
The M/V, on the other hand, is – in my humble opinion – cringe-worthy.
A comment I read earlier suggested that if you’re a fan of Sailor Moon, the Power Rangers, and Halo, then this M/V is for you.
I know the draw is their cutesy style, which we even saw in Strawberry Milk’s M/V of OK, but what people tend to forget is that these girls are actually women. Their ages range from 25-27, respectively, so wouldn’t you think that they would be able to bring a more sexy, yet still playful, image to the forefront of their songs and performances? Especially since people know who they are considering Bar Bar Bar was so successful? Or do you think that because the cutesy song and performance was so popular, they’re doomed to a lifetime of repeating much of the same?
Just a little food for thought…
What do you think?!
